  We have attended the Liversedge multiple times for such occasions as funeral wakes and general family gatherings. However, last night, myself and family came to the Liversedge for a family gathering before NYE. After a nice meal, many of us felt uncomfortable as from about 7:30pm til 8:30pm the waitresses kept on coming around the corner, dropping sly hints in an attempt to get us to leave and checking around the corner to see if we had gone home. I was frankly shocked as the service is normally excellent at this venue. It wasn't busy either in the actual bar area which baffled me even more. The bar staff seemed to be sat around talking most of the time when we went to order drinks. Just to reiterate, I genuinely wouldn't expect this from a venue where we have had many good experiences in the past.

  Nice food and good surroundings, very comfortable inside. We were in a big group so food took a little longer but that was to be expected for a large group.
